I served as the event director for Youth Oasis Family Fest. This was the kick off event for a year-long campaign for the organization. It's purpose was to raise funds and awareness to further the mission of Youth Oasis, a homeless shelter for children.  It was at Acacia Church on April 19, 2015, from 12 p.m. -3 p.m. It featured family activities such as obstacle courses, relay races, live music, prizes, a cake walk, face painting bounce house and a fire breather.  Below are samples of the event plan memo, a final budget, a volunteer packet, an event logistics schedule, and photos from the event.  To take a closer look, please click on the image.

PRSSA at LSU Professional Etiquette Dinner

I served as the director of the professional development commitee at PRSSA at LSU. One of the events that the commitee put on was the Professional Etiquette Dinner. As director, I planned the logistics, wrote the program and managed four other directors. The dinner provided members with dinner etiquette for client meetings, email etiquette, a fashion show that showcased business professional, business casual and casual. I served as one of the director's of logistics for the 2014 PRSSA Region 5 Conference, Hollywood Under the Oaks. This conference hosted over 100 attendees from 5 different states. My position as director of logisitics was to coordinate hotel bookings, manage conference logistics and flow, as well as manage registration.
